Talent Acquisition is used in place of recruitment by several professional but both these terms different each other. In fact recruiting is a sub section of talent acquisition program. Talent Acquisition usually covers sourcing screening interviewing assessment and selection process. Both Management professionals in hiring process and Human Resource managers deals with the acquisition process. There are several elements involved in strategic process of talent acquisition

Talent Acquisition Planning This usually involves alignment of business examination of plan which will be applicable for the work force. A talent acquisition manager should understand the market trends about labours and the consideration on a global perspective.


Segmentation of Workforce An HR management professional involved in talent acquisition should know about the different segments in workforce along with the skills and experience necessary for the successful operations of the company.


Branding of Employment This generally involve the branding of the company’s image and developing a work culture. Talent Acquisition manager should make the key factors that differentiate the company from  its competitors and the management of reputation about the company the products being manufactured at the company and the services offered by the company.


Relationship with the Candidates This part of the talent acquisition program involves a positive experience for the candidate and management of the communities where the candidates are involved. It is also comes under the duty of talent acquisition manager that the relationship with the candidate be maintained by the talent acquisition manager.


The above said things are part of the talent acquisition process which needs to be monitored periodically.
